New Delhi: The fact is that pregnancy is different for every woman, which means not all women have the same symptoms – and symptoms also vary in severity, duration. Pregnancy is a special time in a woman’s life, yet, it can be challenging considering the physical and emotional changes her body goes through during the nine-month period. If you and your partner are thinking about having a baby, knowing what to expect will certainly help you get ready for the months ahead.

As stated above, the signs and symptoms of pregnancy can vary from person to person. For instance, some women may experience symptoms in the first few weeks of conception, while others may not feel any different for a few weeks. Similarly, some women are blessed with glowing skin especially during those first three months, whereas others feel miserable. Moreover, many early pregnancy symptoms can mimic the symptoms of routine pre-menstrual discomforts. So, the only way to tell for sure is to do a pregnancy test. However, you may want to know the following possible signs and symptoms of early pregnancy.

Signs and symptoms of early pregnancy

Usually, the first sign of pregnancy is a missed period. Other possible signs may include:

  1. Mood changes
  2. Headaches
  3. Spotting and cramping
  4. Sore breasts
  5. Fatigue
  6. Nausea, often known as morning sickness

  10. Dizziness and fainting

A woman could experience all of these symptoms during the first weeks of her pregnancy, or maybe only one or two.
